Gorran Lawmakers decline parliamentary pension
Head of the Change Movement ( Gorran) bloc in the Kurdistan region parliament, Ali Hama Salih along with other Gorran MPs have sent letters to the Kurdistan parliament presidency officially declining their parliamentary pensions.
Ali Hama Salih, Head of the Change Movement ( Gorran) bloc made the request official by submitting a form to the speaker’s office saying he will give up his pensions and return to his previous job once his period in the parliament ends.
Earlier, each of Gorran MPs Shirin Amin, and Shayan Askari on Tuesday (January 21) sent a letter to the speaker officially declining their parliamentary pensions.
