Head of Canadian Embassy Office in Kurdistan Region visits Gorran HQ
The General Coordinator of the Change Movement( Gorran), Omer Sayid Ali received Ms Ashley Durec, new Head of Canadian Embassy Office in Kurdistan Region on Monday. 30th September, at the main headquarters of the movement in Sulaimani.
The General Coordinator congratulated Ms Durec for taking office as the new Head of Canadian Embassy Office in Erbil. For her part, Ms Durec congratulated the General Coordinator for holding a successful internal elections of the Movement.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current political situation in the Kurdistan region, Iraq and the region, reiterating support for talks between Baghdad and Erbil to reach an agreement.
