met with the special representative of general secretory of UN
Monday,
December 21, 2020, Jeanine Hennis Plasschaert, special representative of the
general secretory of UN in Iraq visited headquarter of Gorran Movement in
Sulaimanyia city and she was welcomed by Omar Said Al, the general coordinator
of Gorran and the members of diplomatic relationship room.
At the
meeting, the general circumstances of Kurdistan Region and the relationship
between Erbil and Baghdad were discussed, the general coordinator of Gorran
said: the priority of Gorran at this stage, is to reform and improve the life
of people and all our attempts will focus on this point.
They also
confirmed on the need of unity between the political parties inside Kurdistan
region and the participation of all political parties in this current stage
including who are in the government and the oppositions.
