German Ambassador, Consul General meet with the Change Movement

On Wednesday, February  6, Omer Sayid Ali, the General Coordinator of the Change Movement and other members of the executive body received Mr. Serel Non the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Iraq, Consul General to Erbil ,  Ms Barbara Wolf  at the main headquarters of the Change Movement in Sulaimani.

During a meeting, the two sides discussed the current situation in Iraq, the Kurdistan region and forming the new KRG cabinet.

Regarding forming the new KRG cabinet, the Change Movement stated that it attaches importance to  the political  Programme of the cabinet rather than holding posts and it  is seeking radical political and economic reforms, stressing that    joining the new KRG cabinet(whether or not to enter government ) ,  will remain  open options.

For his part,  Omer Sayid Ali, the General Coordinator of the Change Movement thanked Germany for establishing a hospital for Peshmarga in Erbil, calling on Germany to increase its support for the Kurdistan Region specially in health and education sectors.
