Swiss Ambassador to Jordan met with the Change Movement

The General Coordinator of the Change Movement( Gorran), Omer Sayid Ali
received on Tuesday  1\10\2019 at the main headquarters of the movement
in Sulaimani the Swiss Ambassador to Jordan Lukas Gasser and his
accompanying delegation.

In a  meeting which also attended by the coordinator of the diplomatic
relations department of the movement and other members of the
department,  the two sides the two sides discussed the current political
situation in the Kurdistan region and  Iraq , where the Change Movement
highlighted its priorities in bringing about reforms and nationalizing
all the institutions.
The General Coordinator  recalled the effective role that  the Change
Movement played in the past 10 years in the Kurdistan region and Iraq,
adding that the new KRG cabinet should present revenues and budget
transparently to the public opinion and has  to make progress in
educational, health and industrial sectors.  The General Coordinator of
the movement reiterated support for talks between Baghdad and Erbil to
reach an agreement.
For his part, the Swiss Ambassador to Jordan Lukas Gasser referred to
the policy of his country in being unbiased towards conflicts among
superpowers in a bid to establish stability, adding that Iraq can
utilize past experience of Switzerland as Iraq currently is the center
of conflicts and tensions.
