Gorran calls for high voter turnout in Kurdistan Parliament Elections

The National Council confirmed during the meeting the continuation of its struggle to achieve its objectives, expressing the willingness of the movement  to work together towards forming a  political and frontal alliances with political parties aimed at making radical changes at the political and social levels, through the rule of law and social justice , economic development and the fight against corruption.

On Tuesday 26 June 2018, the National Council of the Change Movement( Gorran) convened in the city of Sulaymaniyah  to issue a decisive decision on how to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections of Kurdistan.

 For his part,  member of the National Council, Dr. Hoshyar Omar, told reporters  in a press statement, after the meeting, "the parliamentary elections of Kurdistan is  an opportunity to end the failure of political and economic governance, which led to worsening  the citizens' livelihood and the political process to many crises."

 Pointing to the readiness of the Movement for Change to contest the elections of the Kurdistan Parliament in alliance with the other lists. 

Calling on the citizens of Kurdistan to show high voter turnout in the upcoming parliamentary elections, which is scheduled for the next 30 September.

 Earlier today the General Council of the Change Movement presented three options for the National Council for the purpose of deciding, namely; participation in the elections of the Parliament of Kurdistan in an independent list, or alliances with other lists from now, or the alliance with other parties in parliament after the elections.
