Gorran, KDP strike a deal

The high-level delegations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Change Movement( Gorran) met on Saturday 16/2/2019 in Sulaimani.
In a friendly atmosphere and in an open and responsible talks, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and discussions on the formation of the ninth government cabinet in the Kurdistan Region and the political agreement between the parties.

During the meeting, the delegations agreed on the following points:

1 - Endorsing  the political agreement between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Movement for Change.

2 - Participation of the two blocs of the Democratic Party and the movement of change in the session of the Parliament of Kurdistan, scheduled for February 18.


3. The two sides reached an advanced phase on the formation of the new government.

4- Present the draft agreement to the leadership of the two parties for final approval.
