 The New US Ambassador visits Gorran HQ

The General Coordinator of the Change Movement( Gorran) , Omer Sayid Ali  on Monday , received the new US Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Matthew Tueller and his accompanying delegation at the main headquarters of the movement in Sulaimani.
 
During a meeting, the two sides discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan region and the ongoing efforts towards resolving problems between Erbil and Baghdad stressing the need for  resorting to dialogue  in addressing the problems, especially those  negotiations that have been launched after forming the new  KRG  cabinet.

As for the political situation in Iraq and the region, the US delegates reiterated the US support for peace and stability in the region. The two sides also stressed the need for further strengthening relations between the United States and the Kurdistan region.
