Gorran bloc: we condemn the Turkish attack on the Kurdish border

Gorran bloc in the Kurdistan Parliament stressed that, the bombardment of Kurdistan border by justification of the existence of the guerilla of Kurdistan workers party (PKK) is the clear violation of the international laws and the sovereignty of Iraq and Kurdistan Region, especially the attack of the Makhmur camp which is the residence of civil population.

In the statement, Gorran bloc said: we condemn this attack. We ask the Iraqi Government, Iraqi president, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to respond in this situation and not to be silent about this violation.

We condemn Turkish attack fiercely
Yesterday night, Turkish jets again attacked many areas of Kurdistan Region, especially in the areas of Shangal, Makhmur Camp, the the villages of Balakaiaty, Badinan, Sidaw, and the areas of Warxaly, Awashin region, snine of Xwakwrk and the villages of Qandil. This attack has been done by justification of the existence of Kurdistan Workres Party in those areas. It is a violation on the international laws and the sovereignty of Iraq and Kurdistan region, especially when the Makhmur Camp is the location of the residence of civil population.

This type of war, violence, and attack on the civil population, has been done for many times without any results. For many times, civil population has been targeted and their agricultural lands have been burnt. We condemn this type of attack fiercely. We ask the Iraqi Government, especially the Iraqi President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to respond against this attack. We ask the Iraqi officials not to be silent about this violation.

The only settlement to finish this violence and attack against the oppressed nation inside Turkey, is the settlement of problems peacefully by dialog and discussion instead of war and arresting the representatives of people.
