The detail of the statement:
Dear citizens
About the bill of organizing electronic media
We want to reassure you that we don’t support any project at all that has effects on the reduction of freedom of opinion. These critics and notes that we have gotten are important and respected, we get into consideration.

First: we withdraw the all signatures of Gorran bloc members who sign on the bill.

Second: this bill has just met the first reading. It still waits the second reading, report and writing, and voting. We call the parliament presidency to halt the project and instead of working on this, it should work on the projects that related to the life of people, facing corruption and the salary.

Third: still there are many issues in the courts in which the journalists and citizens have been accused of misuse of mobile phone and they judged by the Iraqi law of punishment. The court decision with those laws has included imprisonment. We try to amendment those laws that district the freedom and the freedom of opinion.

Fourth: we don’t support to mix terror issues with the freedom of opinion at all.
