Gwlstan saed: the Kurdistan Government was supposed to work to broaden freedom of opinion

The head of Gorran Bloc in the Kurdistan Parliament said: the freedom of opinion and protest are two normal, legal and constitutional rights for Kurdistan people, unfortunately inside Kurdistan many people arrested and kidnapped under the pretext of security information.

“The Kurdistan Government was supposed to work to broaden the scale of freedom of opinion instead of arresting and kidnapping teachers, activists and journalists while those rights were organized by law inside Kurdistan region and the executional institutions should abide by that law,” said Gwlstan Saed in her writing.

She also said: “the government should accelerate to release civil rights activists and journalists who were arrested under the pretext of freedom of opinion.”
