A high delegation of government met with Gorran to discuss about decentralization

In order to discuss the decentralization issue, a high delegation of Kurdistan region government visited Gorran Movement and they met with Gorran delegation.

Choman Muhammad, the director of the Law Room of Gorran said to Gorran official website: a high delegation of government visited us to know our view and opinion about decentralization in the Kurdistan region. We are as Gorran Movement think that the decentralization issue is strategic and important for governance and administration.

He also said: we all should take step without political thinking because the decentralization is not about particular place or province, but it is for the public interest and the provinces of Kurdistan Region, it is a new good model of governance which facilitates for citizens’ affairs and reduces routine.

He mentioned that: at the meeting, we expressed our views and opinions through a letter, and our suggestions and steps will be expressed in the near future to the government through a package.
