Ali Hama Salh: if there is a will, the incomes of border crossing reach at 300 billion dinars monthly

A parliamentarian of Gorran bloc in the Kurdistan parliament made a project about the types of smuggling and how to stop them, and said: by preventing smuggling and making reform and improvement, border crossings will become a huge resource of incomes.

“There are many ways to increase internal incomes, I prepare a general project to increase the incomes of border crossings to 300 billion dinars monthly if there is a wish. I have been investigation for a long time about the situation in the border crossings and smuggling,” said Ali Hama Salh.

He also said: every day throughout (Ibralhim Khalil) border crossing, about 2400 trackers enter Iraqi Kurdistan, in every border crossing, money extorted from people by 13 different ways. By reorganizing and reforming Ibrahim Khalil border crossing, Simelka, Bashmax, and Parwezxan and other border crossings, a huge amount of income will return to the government treasury. The all ways to prevent smuggling mentioned and we want just a will to work on this case seriously.

He mentioned that: last month, there was a small amount of smuggling in Parwezxan border crossing, so income increased to 30 billion dinars, and the other border crossings need to organize.
