The administrative and financial decentralization can guarantee good income for any governorate

The head of Gorran Bloc in the Sulaimaniya Governorate Council said that Gorran Movement has been made on the base of decentralization and as a first political party it has demanded to implement decentralization.

“As Gorran Movement, we has been a first political party that demanded to implement decentralization and we have had projects about it, so we want implement decentralization in all governorates,” said Rebwar Ahmad in an interview with KNN website.

He also said: by implementing decentralization, the entity of Kurdistan region will be stronger. The Kurdistan government should on the base of decentralization because the routine will be decreased and facilitation for citizens will emerge in their affairs.

He pointed that implementation of the number (3) law of governorates which approved in 2009, is the implementation of decentralization because it authorize the governor and councils financially and administratively, but so far that law wasn’t implemented.

He stressed on: we want to authorize provinces and governorates, not taking them orders because the decentralization financially and administratively can guarantee a good income for any governorate.
