UK backs radical reforms in Kurdistan Region

A Political Officer at the British Consulate-General in Erbil, Sarah Marsh, visited the Change Movement ( Gorran) Sulaimani on Tuesday ( June 18).

During her meeting with Mohammad Tofiq Rahim, member of the executive body of the movement and Hoshyar Omer, coordinator of diplomatic relations department, both sides discussed steps of forming the 9th KRG cabinet, stressing the need for carrying out radical political and economic  reforms .

The British diplomat expressed support of her country in carrying out reforms in the Kurdistan region and speeding up efforts towards forming the new KRG cabinet.

For its part, the Change Movement stressed the need for attaching importance to the program of the new government and its priorities.
