Gorran, KDP stress the need to form the Kurdistan Alliance
A delegation from the Change Movement( Gorran) and Kurdistan Democrat Party (KDP) met on Tuesday (December 17) in Pirmam to discuss several pressing issues.
Following the meeting , Darbaz Muhammad, a member of the Executive body of the Change Movement and KDP spokesman Mahmoud Mohamed, , held a press conference in which they talked about about the details of the meeting.
The meeting discussed, according to KDP spokesman, matter of reform that began with the pension reform bill in the region, stressing the need for this project to be fair in all aspects.
For his part, Darbaz Muhammad stressed that "the Change Movement believes that the reform in the Kurdistan Region should include all areas, especially with regard to oil imports and border crossings."
He also stressed the need to "form the Kurdistan Alliance as soon as possible because the current stage in Iraq needs understanding, coordination and unified stance among the Kurdish parties."
As for the implementation of the political agreement between the two parties, he said: "The implementation of the agreement needs an appropriate atmosphere."
Earlier today, Jalal Jawhar, member of the Executive body of the Change Movement who led Gorran delegation had said in an exclusive interview with KNN that "the meeting comes within the periodic meetings between the two parties from time to time to discuss issues related to the political agreement between us taking the necessary steps to activate it ".
