Gorran Movement reaffirms its support to media freedom

Gorran Movement reaffirms its support to Metro Center and all the other institutions that defend the general freedoms and human rights. 

This reaffirmation has been declared at Thursday, October 20, 2022 during a visit of a Press Chamber delegation to Metro Center.

“Gorran Movement supports media freedom and we believe that that journalists detention illegally is a sign of bad governing and closed authority”, said Dler Abdulkhaliq, spokesman of Gorran Movement.

He also said: “all the notices and criticisms of international community and the reports of human rights watch about the Iraqi Kurdistan Region need to be answered quickly. We stressed that having military forces by political parties or any other partisan people, is a threat on the governing process and general and civil freedoms.
